== 구성 ==
C키로 구성된 전형적인 록 넘버이다. 곡은 D의 일렉트릭 기타 선율로 잔잔히 시작한다. 1절까진 조용히 이어지지만, 코러스부터 사운드가 커져 리드미컬하고 경쾌한 선율로 진행한다. 곡에선 특히 일렉트릭 기타가 주를 이루고 있어서 전반적으로 거친 리프를 보인다. 간주에선 색소폰[* [[Goodbye Yellow Brick Road]]의 16번 트랙 [[Social Disease]]에서 참여한 르로이 고메즈가 연주한 것이다.]이 연주되었고, 아웃트로에선 기타, 색소폰, 피아노와 같이 강력하고 거친 리프로 이어지면서 페이드 아웃된다. 데이비 존스턴은 이 곡에서 두 대의 12현 기타를 레슬리 스피커[* 하몬드계의 오르간을 사용할 때 함께 사용되는 로터리 스피커의 상품명]에 연결해서 연주했다고 했다.
=== 가사 의미 ===
전형적인 미국인 가정에서 자란 불량 청소년에 대한 내용을 담은걸로 보인다. 애초에 Screw You가 엿 먹으라는 뜻의 비속어라서 거친 내용을 담았다고 볼 수 있고, 직접적으로 비속어를 사용한 첫 엘튼 존 곡이기도 하다. 그 때문인지 미국판 싱글에선 제목을 [[Young Man's Blues]]로 바꿔서 수록되었다. 하지만 가사는 그대로이다.
== 여담 ==
이 곡은 1973년 10월에 발매된 [[Goodbye Yellow Brick Road(음악)|Goodbye Yellow Brick Road]] 싱글 B면에 수록되었고, 당시 싱글 B면에 수록된 2곡 [[Jack Rabbit]], [[Whenever You're Ready]]와 같이 [[Goodbye Yellow Brick Road]]의 리마스터링 CD 앨범의 보너스 트랙으로 수록되었다. [[Goodbye Yellow Brick Road]]를 작업하면서 녹음된 곡이지만, [[Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player]]의 보너스 트랙으로도 수록되었다.

대부분의 싱글 B면 수록곡들이 그렇듯이, 라이브에선 부르지 않았다.
