[[영국]] - [[아일랜드]]에서 전해지는 트래디셔널 [[포크]] 송.
가사는 아일랜드 봉기를 담은 시에서 기원한다고 한다. O Waly Waly라는 다른 가사의 곡도 있다.

두 가지 버전의 가사가 큰 차이를 보인다. 심지어 같은 버전에서도 군데군데가 조금씩 차이 나기도.

단순한 선율이 지극히 아름다운 곡으로 [[칼라 보노프]]가 부른 것이 유명하다. 영화 [[린다린다린다]]에선 무반주 버전이 후반부에 나와 극중 관객과 극 바깥의 관객들을 한꺼번에 압도한다(...).

[[메이비]]가 '내 사랑 무덤까지'라는 제목으로 [[번안]]하기도 했다.
