G로 구성된 푸근한 발라드이다. 곡에선 [[하프시코드]]를 연주했고, [[오르간]]이 배경을 차지하고 있다. 원래 [[Empty Sky]]는 [[피아노]]보다 하프시코드와 오르간의 비중이 높기 때문에 잠시 하프시코드의 사용이 흔했다. 대조적인 가사에 맞는 분위기와 선율을 보이는 것이 인상적인 점. 이 곡은 1968년 11월 이전에 작곡되었고, 1968년 11월에 진행된 스튜디오 공연에서 이 곡을 불렀고, 이후로 한번도 부르지 않았다.<br />

1975년 미국판에선 제목이 [[Valhalla]]로 표기되었다.<br />
