캐나다 CBC에서 1984년에서 1986년까지 총 6기 78화로 방영되었던 TV 시리즈물로 우리나라에는 1980년대 중반 KBS를 통해 방영되었다.
두 이란성 쌍동이인 토마스와 애니 에디슨이 말썽꾸러기 동생 폴과 함께 마을의 사건과 소동을 해결하며 덤으로 과학적인 원리도 알려주는 드라마.
미국에도 1980년대에 수입되어 디즈니 채널을 통해 방영되었다.
제작자는 마이클 히르시(Michael Hirsh)와 패트릭 루버트(Patrick Loubert)
당연히 이들의 성 에디슨은 발명가 토머스 에디슨에서 따왔다.
