1 개요

공항정보방송업무, Automatic Terminal Information Service

공항 정보를 24시간 방송하는 서비스. 해당 공항 활주로의 이착륙 방향, 풍향, 풍송 등 일기 정보를 녹음방송한다. 공항 시설의 문제나 이용시 유의할 점[1]도 내용에 포함된다.

2 청취 방법

인천국제공항과 김포국제공항과 김해국제공항과 제주국제공항의 ATIS는 ARS번호로도 청취할 수 있다.[2]

이외의 공항에는 대한민국 항공정보서비스에서 제공하는 각 공항 차트에 안내된 주파수를 직접 청취하는 방법이 있다. 주파수의 무선을 직접 청취할 때에는 항공무선통신사 등의 자격증을 요한다.

3 방송 내용

ATIS에 담기는 내용은 다음과 같다. 참고로 기상 정보는 그 당시 유효한 METAR를 기반으로 한다.
별표(*)는 해당될 경우에만 방송한다.

  • 공항 이름과 식별부호
  • 시간 (현재시간이 아니라 ATIS를 만들 때 사용한 METAR 시간)
  • 풍향, 풍속
  • 시정거리
  • 구름 상태와 위치
  • 기온, 이슬점
  • 기압
  • 착륙 활주로
  • 기타 기상 관련 사항*
  • 공항 시설 및 주변공역 상황(NOTAM)*
  • 식별부호

Hazardous weather information for Florida and coastal waters available in HIWAS and flight service frequencies. Land and hold short operations are in effect.
