제1차 세계대전 당시 영국 군인들이 부른 노래. 1차대전 최고의 인기곡이다. 1912년 존 저지와 해리 제임스 윌리엄즈가 작곡, 존 저지가 작사했다.[1]

이 노래는 영화 특전 U보트에도 나왔는데, 유보트 승무원들이 매우 쾌활하게 부르는 장면이 인상적이다. 일항사는 뭐씹은 표정 짓는데 말이다(...) [2] 영화에서 삽입된 곡은 붉은 군대 합창단이 부른 버전이다.
