1 개요
노르웨이 오슬로 출신의 일렉트로닉 밴드. 2010년 부터 활동했다. 르메트르라고 읽는다. 가끔씩 누가 '레마이트레'라고 읽는다. 틀린 말은 아니네
인터뷰에 따르면 밴드 이름의 유래는 빅뱅 우주론을 처음으로 주장한 신부 조르주 르메트르(Georges Lemaître)라고 한다.
2014년 1월, Lemaitre는 아스트랄웍스 레코드(Astralwerks Records)[2]과 계약, 소속된다.
이후 같은 소속인 포터 로빈슨의 'Worlds'앨범 'Polygon Dust'곡의 피쳐링을 하기도 했다.
현재는 2014년 부터 미국 캘리포니아 주 로스앤젤레스(LA)에서 거주하며 활동하고 있다.
