엘튼 존의 컴필레이션 앨범이자 크리스마스 앨범.

각종 뮤지션들의 크리스마스 곡들로 수록된 앨범이다. 엘튼 존의 곡은 1973년 Step Into Christmas과 2005년에 녹음되어 여가수 조스 스톤과 부른 "Calling In Christmas" 밖에 없다. 앨범의 라이너 노트에 따르면, 엘튼 존은 이미 유명해진 크리스마스 곡들을 수록하는 것을 반대했고, 본인이 좋아하는 각각 뮤지션들의 곡들이나 잘 알려지지 않은 크리스마스 곡들을 수록하길 원했다.

2005년 11월에 발매되었을때 어느 나라에 진입하지 못해 히트치지 못했다. 10개월 뒤 2006년 10월에 재발매되었을때 싱글 "Calling In Christmas"를 싱글로 발매했고, 2006년 재발매판에선 6곡을 제외한 15곡으로 수록되었다.

여담으로 펫 샵 보이즈의 "It Doesn't Often Snow at Christmas"는 원래 1997년에 발매될 예정이었다.

  • 앨범에서 유일하게 새로 작곡된 곡. 엘튼 존은 다른 뮤지션들의 곡들로 수록된 앨범에 단 하나만 새 곡을 수록하고 싶다고 했다. 이 곡은 크리스마스에 어울리는 잔잔하면서 비장한 선율의 발라드이고, 크리스마스의 의미에 대한 전형적인 내용을 담았다. 영국 여가수 조스 스톤(Joss Stone)과 듀엣으로 불렀다. 이 곡은 2005년 10월 애틀란타에서 녹음되었고, 성가대가 백보컬로 참여했다. 2006년 12월에 싱글로 발매되긴 했지만, 영국 싱글 차트 123위로 처참하게 기록되었다.
